At the hangers and spools, S-seals and FS-seals resist extrusion with molded-in springs, and FS-seals also seal against rough or out-of-round casing. O-rings, T-seals, and back-up rings seal the connectors and valves above, and stem packing, including chevron packing, seals gate valve stems.
