Moss Seal maintains a quality management system certified to ISO 9001, and we renew that certification every year through an independent audit. It has kept us accountable for decades, and it is the standard behind every seal we distribute or manufacture.
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management. It requires documented, repeatable processes for the things that touch your order: qualifying suppliers, inspecting incoming material, controlling inventory, machining, molding and assembling parts, and correcting a nonconformance if one occurs. Certification is not a one-time award. An outside registrar audits the system on a recurring basis, and we have to demonstrate that we follow it.
Our customers work in hydraulic fracturing, well completions, fluid and gas systems and other high-pressure applications where a failed seal is not an inconvenience; it is a shutdown. Yearly ISO 9001 certification keeps us to that standard and gives you an auditable record behind the parts we ship.
