To Our Valued Customers and Vendors,

It is with sadden hearts that we inform you that Mary Palmer went to be with the Lord on September 10th, 2020. Mary has been a dedicated employee with Moss for 33 years! During her tenure with Moss she worked in Sales and Purchasing. She accompanied Moss throughout many changes over the years; Working alongside Bill when he purchased the company from George Moss, she was an original team member who began working on Yale Street in The Heights of Houston and transitioned to Moss’s new home with the move to 518 Rankin Circle North, she was also a valuable team member when Moss added our machining capabilities to, additionally she was a part of our opening in Alberta, Canada. Mary was devoted to Moss Seal Company, especially to Bill Hogue whom she loved like family. Moss was her home and she made sure to tell anyone she ever met that she would never leave this place, sometimes she took the expression too literal! Mary’s love for her job was evident as she always extended help to anyone that had a question about our products, not only would she would give you the history but she would find all of the supporting documents to present to you to ensure that received the whole gamut of information. Mary was always focused on the greater good of the company, our customers and our vendors and she made many great contributions to help us all move forward in numerous ways.

Mary was a devoted Christian and powerful prayer warrior who spent many days and nights praying over Moss Seal employees, customers, and vendors. Mary truly cared for each person that came through the doors, called over the phone or communicated by email over the years and loved you all.

Mary leaves behind a legacy that we all know and will never forget. She will be greatly missed and everyone here is saddened by her passing. Thank you, Mary, for all that you have done for Moss Seal Company, Bill, and the Hogue family for the past 33 years.

Mary’s son, Shane Palmer, has been with her and by her side as she walked through a tough battle. Please continue to send thoughts and prayers to Shane during this difficult time in the passing of his dear Mother.
